This is a personal development programme that gives you the chance to look at current issues affecting you today, and helps to empower you to get your life back on track.
What do I have to do?
Turn up, interact and benefit from the results. The course lasts 6 weeks, each session lasts up to 2 hours. The next courses are planned to start in late April 2014 in Runcorn and Widnes. What can I learn from Positive You?
Positive You helps you to: –
Learn new ways to improve self esteem and focus on improving self confidence |
Appreciate the importance of effective communication and assertiveness |
Look at the importance of your decisions and how they will affect your life. |
Create an Action Plan and identify support networks |
Realisation that change happens to us all, but by understanding the different phases of change and how to manage those changes can put you in the driving seat. |
What is expected of me in the weekly sessions?
What you learn, how you use it and how serious you are about changing is up to you, but to show your commitment to changing, we ask that you attend the course regularly and on time. We also ask that you actively take part and take the course seriously. You will be asked to complete some tasks but you will receive support from the course leader. Sessions will be informal and discussion led.
Will the programme help my relationships?
By attending the course, you will see how you impact on all your relationships, past and present.
